The Northeast Tarrant County Texas A&M University Mothers’ Club is one of more than one hundred Aggie Moms’ Clubs across the country. We are organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
“We strive by individual and united effort to contribute in every way to the welfare of the students at Texas A&M University and to cooperate with the University in maintaining a high standard of moral conduct and intellectual attainment…” and we make new friends and have fun in the process!
Aggie Moms are proud of Texas A&M University, proud of the sons and daughters they send to Texas A&M, and proud of making a contribution to the education of their Aggies, to the future of Texas A&M University, and to the future of the Great State of Texas.
A Letter from the President
Welcome to the Northeast Tarrant County (NETC) Aggie Mom’s Club! My name is Beverly Reynal ‘93 and I am excited to be serving as the NETC Aggie Moms’ Club President. As an Aggie myself, I am passionate and embrace all the values, traditions, and spirit of Texas A&M. As an Aggie Mom it is my honor to represent such a wonderful group of women and their Aggie students.
Ninety-Nine years ago, Mrs. H.L. (Asa Brooks Allen) Peoples suggested that parents should become familiar with A&M during their son’s (female students were not admitted until 1963) freshman year instead of waiting for graduation to visit as was the custom. As we approach the Centennial Anniversary of Aggie Moms Clubs, the mission remains “by individual and united effort to contribute in every way to the comfort and welfare of the students and to cooperate with Texas A&M University in maintaining a high standard of moral conduct and intellectual attainment”.
Each year the 110 Aggie Mom’s Clubs award scholarships to individual students and serve Texas A&M University by financially supporting campus organizations and over 1000 student organizations including the Aggie Band, The Corp of Cadets, the Endowment Fund for the Sterling C. Evans Library, Fish, Transfer & S.A.L.T. Camps, Peer Orientation Conferences and CARPOOL.
Last year NETC Aggie Mom’s Club gave out over $8000.00 for our Aggies. This is all made possible through our fundraising efforts; raffles, club merchandise and club events.
I look forward to this new year and I am grateful that we can gather in person once again. The opportunity to meet and build relationships with other Aggie Moms is truly a unique experience.
