Welcome to Our Club

The Northeast Tarrant County Texas A&M University Mothers’ Club is one of more than one hundred Aggie Moms’ Clubs across the country.  We are organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.

“We strive by individual and united effort to contribute in every way to the welfare of the students at Texas A&M University and to cooperate with the University in maintaining a high standard of moral conduct and intellectual attainment…” and we make new friends and have fun in the process!

Aggie Moms are proud of Texas A&M University, proud of the sons and daughters they send to Texas A&M, and proud of making a contribution to the education of their Aggies, to the future of Texas A&M University, and to the future of the Great State of Texas.

A Letter from the President

Welcome to the Northeast Tarrant County (NETC) Aggie Mom’s Club!  My name is Nancy Longbottom, President NETC Aggie Moms’ Club. It is an honor to serve again as this year’s President. Being involved in NETC Aggie Mom’s allows you to support your student, become accustomed to Texas A&M and its Traditions, and form new lifelong friendships. This Club is truly a special place and, for me, it has been a joy to get to know the wonderful women that are part of this club.

As you know, 2020 has been an interesting year, so we have made some changes to our normal routine. However, we will continue our tradition of service and scholarship while having fun and getting to know one another. We gather the second Tuesday of each month from September through May at 6:30PM, now on ZOOM (until we can meet in person again at Good Shepherd Catholic Community, 1000 Tinker Rd. Colleyville, TX). We offer informative, entertaining, thoughtful and resourceful programs, along with some fun social activities, and raise money for scholarships and student organizations.

Each September, we welcome new and returning members during our annual Howdy Party. This year we are having a socially distant Two-Step Howdy Party.

September 8th (6:30-8PM) + Drive Through September 12th (7-8:30PM)

One Step:  At the ZOOM Welcome Event on September 8th (6:30-8PM), you will learn about Aggie Moms, NETC Aggie Moms, some Traditions, our Fall schedule, and participate in a live survey, all while playing some fun games.

Two Step:  At the Howdy Ice Cream Social on September 12th (7-8:30PM) at First United Methodist Church in Keller, you can register for membership, sign up for Goodie Bags, order T-shirts and yard signs, Win Prizes, have some Ice Cream, and watch performances by the Lil’ and Elite Aggie Wranglers. Please come join us for this fun drive through event!

We hope you will join us in our grand mission and fully experience, “the Spirit that can ne’er be told… the Spirit of Aggieland.”

It’s going to be a great year!  Gig ‘Em!

Nancy Longbottom, NETC President
